A career in Garden Design awaits you……..

Love gardens and enjoy the outdoors? Would like to be more creative at work? Looking for a new challenge? Garden Design School can help you achieve your goals and open the door to a rewarding new career……

One of the UK’s foremost providers of specialist training in garden design – Garden Design School offers an intensive part-time diploma – a professional qualification which equips students with all of the practical, technical and commercial knowledge and skills needed to become a confident, practicing garden designer.
The diploma programme which runs annually for 9 months from September, is taught within the stunning and stimulating surroundings of the Bristol Botanic Garden in Bristol and Painshill Park in Surrey.

Garden Design School’s professional, yet warm faculty of accomplished experts is led by two exceptional and inspirational garden designers - Moira Farnham and Robin Templar Williams. Passionate about teaching garden design, Robin and Moira have a combined 34 years teaching experience, and through extensive experience of managing their own thriving design practices, they are able to share rich insight into what it takes to design real gardens for real, fee-paying customers.

Garden Design School believe that mutual commitment to challenging, yet supported learning is the key to achieving students’ goals. Classes are therefore restricted to a maximum of 16 students to ensure everyone is guaranteed a high standard of individual coaching and guidance from the tutors, as well as support and encouragement from their fellow students.

Garden Design School offers FREE Taster Days for those wanting to get a feel for the diploma course and learn more about working in the exciting and profitable garden design industry. There are 4 Taster Days on offer this year - choose from:
